What We Offer
Starting wage: $21.00/hour
Wage range: $21.00–$25.00/hour depending on experience
- 20–40 hours per week, with opportunities for increased hours as our Exterior Division expands.
- Hours are not guaranteed every week; scheduling varies based on client demand and operational needs
- Primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends
- Paid bi-weekly via direct deposit
- Paid drive time between job sites during your shift
- Paid training — we set you up before you work independently

- 4% vacation pay and statutory holiday pay

What You’ll Do
As an Exterior Cleaner with The Kind Hearted Company, you will be the face of our brand at our clients’ properties. You will deliver the Kind Hearted standard — thorough work, genuine care, and the kind of professionalism that makes clients feel their property is in good hands.
You will:
- Perform pressure washing on driveways, walkways, siding, patios, and other exterior surfaces
- Carry out exterior window cleaning to a consistently high standard
- Complete gutter cleaning and debris removal
- Perform moss removal and preventative surface treatments
- Support general property maintenance as operationally required
- Operate, care for, and maintain company equipment to a professional standard
- Follow safe work practices and WHMIS guidelines at every job site
- Deliver professional, courteous customer service to clients on-site
- Work safely outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout Greater Victoria
- Represent The Kind Hearted Company with integrity at every client property

What We’re Looking For
We hire for attitude first. Skills can be taught. Character cannot.
The right person for this role takes ownership of their work, notices what others walk past, and holds themselves to a high standard even when no one is watching.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in exterior cleaning, pressure washing, landscaping, property maintenance, construction labour, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory. We highly value reliability, professionalism, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
- Valid BC driver's licence (required).
- Reliable personal vehicle and ability to transport yourself to and from job sites (required).
- Legally authorized to work in Canada (no visa sponsorship available)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical outdoor work
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong reliability, accountability, and attention to detail
- Professional communication skills with clients and management
Preferred Qualifications
- Pressure washing experience (residential or commercial)
- Exterior window cleaning experience
- Comfort working at heights and on ladders
- Familiarity with WHMIS standards and safe chemical handling
- General labour or property maintenance experience
- Experience performing exterior services in residential or commercial settings.
- Long-term interest in growth into a Lead or Supervisory role
