Overview
We are seeking a skilled PLC Programmer to join our automation team. The ideal candidate will have experience in programming Siemens and Allen-Bradley controls, electrical panel builds, and some experience with Fanuc and Yaskawa robots. This role involves designing, developing, and troubleshooting programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for various types of new and existing equipment builds. Duties
- Develop, test, and implement PLC programs for various manufacturing machinery and automation systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and AutoCAD layouts to support system integration.
- Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, sensors, and related electrical components to minimize downtime.
- Configure and calibrate sensors, switches, and other automation devices within the control systems.
- Assist in the integration of new automation solutions while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Provide technical support for customer service teams related to automation issues.
- Ability to travel within Canada, the USA, and Mexico to support our equipment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with Siemens and Allen-Bradley controls.
- Experience with Fanuc and Yaskawa robots.
- Hands-on experience programming programmable logic controllers (PLCs) using ladder logic or other languages.
- Familiarity with schematics, AutoCAD drawings, sensors, and machinery.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and automation controls is highly desirable.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and quality standards.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 55.0 per week
