Scope:
Under the direct supervision of the North Lodge Program Manager and overall supervision of the Executive Director, the Awake Night Attendant is to work the night shift and, monitor clients, maintain the overnight security, conduct random property checks, prepare daily group paperwork and contribute to the general housekeeping. While not in-program the applicant will have the chance to work the day shift to prepare for the start of program and assist the lodge with housekeeping and maintenance-like duties.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure general housekeeping of office and program rooms.
- Ensure the overall housekeeping of the Lodge is maintained and meets health code regulations.
- To work in partnership with a team to ensure families are monitored via camera and random room checks.
- Ensuring all program-oriented material is posted and ready for next day.
- Ensuring safety and the client needs are met while in residence.
- While off program be capable to work flexible hours to assist in prepping for next program.
- Completing/Filing Serious Occurrence’s when deemed necessary.
Qualifications:
- Willing to work flexible hours including night shifts on weekdays and weekends.
- Basic peer support, conflict resolution/crisis intervention skills an asset.
- Be able to work independently and team oriented.
- Be a role model in the community.
- Have or willing to obtain CPR/First Aid, NVCI or other required trainings.
- Must be willing to obtain a clear Vulnerable Sector/Broad Record Check.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Pay: $45,000.00-$48,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Alban, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Night Shift: 1 year (required)
- Working with adult populations: 1 year (preferred)
