Harbour Dental Centre (Dental Centres.com) has two entry level CDA level ll career opportunity to join our elevate clinical team. New graduates are welcome as full on site training will be available. We are looking for individuals who like challenges and pursue a strong career as the "dental assistant" to prosthodontists, surgeons and dentists. positions available.
Our hours of operation:
Monday 730am to 5:30pm
Tuesday 7:30am to 6:30pm
Wednesday 730am to 5:30pm
Thursday 7:30am to 6:30pm
Friday 7:30am to 4pm
Saturday 7:30am to 2pm
Sunday - Closed
Must be able to cover two evenings per week and every Saturday. NO LONG WEEKEND SHIFTS.

Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
- Assist dentists during various procedures, including orthodontics and pediatrics, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary
- Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Dentrix and Epic
- Provide post-operative instructions and educate patients on oral health maintenance
- Support front desk operations as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries
- Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment adhering to all safety standards
- Assist with inventory management of dental supplies and materials
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to dental assisting and patient confidentiality
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant Level II certification required
- Proven experience with dental assisting procedures, surgery, prostho, endo and general dentistry
- Proficiency with dental software systems such as Paradigm, is essential
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Familiarity with CAD technology for digital imaging is a plus
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience as a dental receptionist or in administrative roles within a dental practice is advantageous
