Summary
We are seeking a dedicated HR Generalist and Safety Coordintor to join our team in Canada. Based at our headquarters, this role is vital in supporting our human resources initiatives, ensuring compliance, and fostering a positive workplace culture aligned with our company values.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate HR programs including recruitment, onboarding and employee engagement
- Oversee HRIS systems such as ADP ensure data accuracy and reporting.
- Support talent acquisition efforts by sourcing candidates and conducting interviews.
- Facilitate employee relations and communication between staff and management.
- Assist in payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Implement change management strategies for HR initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with employment laws and company policies.
- Lead and maintain the company's heathy & safety program in compliance with Ontario regulations
- Conduct workplace hazard assessments and risk evaluations
- Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs
- Collaborate with leadership on HR projects to improve organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in human resources management within a manufacturing or food industry environment.
- Strong knowledge of HRIS systems such as Workday, ADP
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience with payroll systems like ADP.
- Knowledge of talent acquisition processes.
- Knowledge of Ontario employment standards and health & safety legislation
- Proficiency in project management and change management methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
