Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with plans and specifications.
- Coordinate and oversee trades, subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
- Monitor project progress and address site issues to maintain schedules and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and building codes.
- Review construction drawings and specifications and communicate requirements to site teams.
- Schedule and coordinate inspections, deliveries, and subcontractor activities.
- Maintain accurate site documentation, including daily logs, deficiency lists, and progress reports.
- Ensure materials and equipment are available and properly managed on site.
- Identify and resolve construction deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions.
- Communicate regularly with project managers, office staff, homeowners, consultants, and municipal inspectors as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in residential or commercial construction supervision.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with construction management software such as Buildertrend is considered an asset.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
