Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join our veterinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical care, supporting veterinarians, and ensuring the well-being of our animal patients. Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures with precision and care
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed
- Perform laboratory tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and other diagnostic procedures
- Monitor anesthesia and recovery processes for surgical patients
- Collect and process samples for laboratory analysis with attention to detail
- Maintain accurate medical records and document all patient interactions thoroughly
- Provide client education on animal health, nutrition, and preventive care
- Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of medical instruments and treatment areas
- Support kennel management, including feeding, bathing, and general care of hospitalized animals
Experience
- Valid license as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
- Prior laboratory experience is highly preferred to support diagnostic testing needs
- Experience working in a veterinary clinic or hospital setting is advantageous
- Strong understanding of veterinary medical practices, safety protocols, and animal handling techniques
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
