Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Hybrid Immigration Assistant to support our team in managing immigration cases and related administrative tasks. This role offers a blend of remote and in-office work, ideal for candidates with strong research, writing, and project management skills. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring accurate document preparation, case tracking, and client communication, contributing to the efficient operation of our immigration practice.
Responsibilities
- Assist with legal drafting of immigration documents, forms, and correspondence
- Manage case files through iManage and ensure proper filing, data entry, and document organization
- Proofread and review legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Support project management activities related to immigration cases, including deadlines and follow-ups
- Maintain professional phone etiquette when communicating with clients, government agencies, or partners
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining organized records
- Support the team with clerical duties including scheduling appointments and managing calendars
Requirements
- Proven administrative experience with strong organizational skills
- Good proofreading, writing skills, and attention to detail
- Proficiency in document management systems
- Strong data entry skills and experience with filing systems
- Knowledge of legal drafting standards related to immigration law
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Prior clerical experience in a legal or administrative setting is desirable
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
