Hiring a Window Assembler for a window company in Mississauga.
Shift: 8 am - 4pm
Pay: $17.60-$22.50/hour
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing or assembly environment and be comfortable using hand and power tools to assemble window components efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production drawings.
- Measure, cut, and prepare aluminum or PVC profiles and related materials.
- Assemble window frames, sashes, glass panes, gaskets, and hardware components.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing equipment.
- Inspect completed products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures, especially when handling glass and heavy materials.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Operate a forklift as required to move materials throughout the warehouse and production area.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Assist with various production and installation-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in window or door assembly/manufacturing.
- Experience using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment.
- Forklift experience is considered an asset.
