Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a strong understanding of food and beverage service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role involves engaging with guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for all patrons. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. The Server will play a vital role in maintaining sanitation standards and supporting the overall operation of the restaurant.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive guest services throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
- Support team members to uphold high standards of hospitality and service excellence
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for billing, cash handling, and order accuracy
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is a plus but not required
- Good communication skills and teamwork orientation are essential for success in this role
