Overview
We are seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor to lead and support our production team in a plastic manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production while building a positive and productive team culture. Experience in plastic product manufacturing is required, and experience in rotational moulding (roto-moulding) is considered a strong asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities during assigned shifts.
- Lead, coach, and develop production employees to achieve production targets.
- Hands on and ensure products meet quality standards and customer requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and management teams.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in plastic product manufacturing is required.
- Experience in rotational moulding (roto-moulding) is an asset.
- Leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- ERP/MRP system experience is an asset.
- Ability to work overtime, and weekends as required.
