About the Role
Maintain the standards of proper and accurate mixing of all beverages according to bar
standards provided by the Harrison Hot Springs Resort & Spa. Ensure that beverages and food
are served as quickly and efficiently as possible, with the highest quality and consistent
standards.
What You’ll Do
- Open and close the bar in accordance with company standards.
- Take guest dink and food orders at the patio and lounge.
- Pour and mix all drinks as they are ordered, measured and made to standard.
- Handle room charges and credit/debit card purchases accurately.
- Keep the area neat and clean; remove used glasses, dishes, cutlery and garbage, etc.
- Order supplies in accordance with established par stocks.
- Prepare all liquor requisitions as required.
- Assist with training, stocking, ordering and inventory.
- Complete additional job-related duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
- 1 year bartending experience in a busy environment; or equivalent combination of
education and experience.
- Current Food Safe certification (required).
- Current Serving it Right certification (required).
- Exceptional customer service or public contact experience.
- Ability to explain standards and laws, ability to deal sensitively with people who may
have diminished capacity due to alcohol or drug consumption.
- Touch screen POS experience would be an asset (specifically Lightspeed).
