We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and recipe development.
- Supervise kitchen staff and manage daily operations to ensure efficient food production.
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain high standards of quality.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques, presentation, and safety practices.
- Collaborate with the catering team for special events and banquets.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Participate in shift management to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours.
Skills
- Proven experience in fine dining or restaurant management.
- Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing a team effectively.
- Knowledge of inventory management and control processes.
- Familiarity with menu planning and catering services.
