Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of vehicles and machinery, including cars, trucks, excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm equipment
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and schematics to identify issues and execute repairs efficiently
- Conduct maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, electrical system troubleshooting, and system upgrades
- Operate heavy equipment safely and effectively when necessary for repair or maintenance tasks
- Follow safety protocols related to industrial equipment operation and vehicle repair procedures
- Assist in assembling or disassembling mechanical components using appropriate tools
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs clearly to clients
Experience
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance
- Dealership experience is preferred but not required
- Hands-on experience with heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or farm machinery is advantageous
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, welding techniques, electrical systems, schematics reading, and industrial equipment operation is a plus
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work with various mechanical components for extended periods
- Prior experience working with heavy equipment operation or industrial machinery is desirable
- Strong mechanical aptitude combined with excellent customer service skills is essential for success in this role
Pay: $17.39-$45.00 per hour
