We have an immediate opportunity for a Print Production Lead & Graphic Designer.
The successful candidate will be mechanically inclined, well organized, detail oriented and able to work within a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude. This is a permanent, full time position offering excellent benefits and a great team environment.
As a Print Production Lead & Graphic Designer, you will:
· Be familiar with and capable using InDesign and Illustrator.
· Reading work orders and setting up equipment according to project specifications
· Examining print material and products for defects and to ensure conformance to specifications.
· Cleaning work area and performing regular maintenance and preventative checks on equipment
· Communicating with the administrative, design and production team to meet all deadlines
· Coordinating and maintaining shipping schedules.
· Receiving and following through with customer calls and emails.
Qualifications:
· Attentive to detail and quality consciousness are essential
· Mechanical aptitude with sound problem solving and decision-making skills
· Able to read instructions, follow procedures and work with minimal supervision
· Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure
· Team player as well as self motivated
· Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
· Possess valid Nova Scotia Driver’s License and be at least 25 years of age (to be insured on company vehicle)
Start date: Immediately; Hours 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday thru Friday
