Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lawn Care Specialist to join our landscape maintenance team. This role involves maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through various gardening and landscaping tasks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture, experience with landscape maintenance, and the ability to operate a variety of tools and equipment to ensure high-quality results. Duties
- Mowing, edging, and trimming lawns to maintain aesthetic appeal
- Operating machinery such as excavators and power tools for landscaping projects
- Installing and repairing irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas
- Pruning shrubs, trees, and plants to promote healthy growth and appearance
- Performing general gardening tasks including planting, fertilizing, and weed control
- Conducting routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance
- Assisting with construction-related landscape projects such as retaining walls or pathways
- Monitoring landscape health through horticultural practices and making necessary adjustments
- Ensuring safety protocols are followed during all maintenance activities
Requirements
- Prior experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating and maintaining landscaping equipment
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction techniques used in outdoor projects
- Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and repair is a plus
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, digging, and operating machinery for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license preferred for operating larger equipment or transporting materials
