Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks with attention to quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems accurately for order entry and cash transactions
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and process refunds with proper cash handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and dining space in accordance with food safety standards
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about ingredients or dietary options, and provide excellent customer service
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
- Follow food safety guidelines for handling ingredients and preparing beverages
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista
- Strong customer service skills
- Good time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
