Duties & Responsibilities:
· Interpret technical drawings and specification to determine layout, materials and dimensions of construction projects.
· Frame walls, windows, doors, install trusses, metal roofing and siding as per drawings and manufacturer's specifications.
· Preform detailed interior finishings in a timely manner.
· Collaborate with site supervisors and team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to spec.
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
· Ensure quality, efficiency, and safe completion of all repairs.
· Conform in all respects with applicable federal, provincial, and local laws, regulations, ordinances, and other orders and to all Company policies, procedures, and directives from supervisors.
· Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· Proven experience as a carpenter in residential construction (3+ years preferred).
· Strong knowledge of materials and general carpentry techniques, and construction best practices.
· Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and other carpentry equipment with precision.
· Physical strength and stamina; ability to lift and work on ladders or in tight spaces as needed.
· Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a can-do attitude.
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
