Role: Registered Respiratory Therapist Needed: Permanent Position
The Role:
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care by assessing, treating, and managing respiratory disorders. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans, advocate for patient needs, and promote optimal respiratory health outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Provide respiratory therapy treatments and assessments.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments.
Educate patients and families on respiratory care and management.
Requirements:

Current unrestricted license as Advanced Care Paramedic in their home
Province/Territory and the ability to attain an Advanced Care Paramedic Registration
in the College of Paramedics of Manitoba (CPMB) -
3 years of overall experience as an Advanced Care Paramedic

Experience providing aeromedical care is an asset

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification
-
Current Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) certification
-
Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)certification is an asset
-
Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is an asset
-
Current Trauma Course (PHTLS or ITLS) is considered an asset
-
Indigenous cultural awareness training is considered an asset

Proof of current required vaccinations as per company policy

Air Medical Crew (AMC) Candidates must successfully:

Complete the company provided aeromedical training (CAMATA Level 1)

Provide proof of a Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector

Scan, Child Abuse Registry and Adult Abuse Registry

Obtain and maintain Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
-
Possess and Maintain a Valid Driver’s License
-
Possess and Maintain a Valid Canadian Passport
-
Attain a Fit to Fly Form, completed by a recognized physician in Canada as required or directed by the Company.
Compensation:
Pay rate: $98,000 - $123,500 per year based on experience
