Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Sous / AKM to join our kitchen team. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, but a strong desire to learn and grow within the hospitality industry is essential. Responsibilities
- Assist with supervising staff and ensuring smooth daily operations of the restaurant with chef
- Support food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high-quality standards
- Help manage food handling procedures in accordance with food safety regulations
- Serve customers efficiently while providing excellent hospitality and service
- Contribute to maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety within the kitchen and dining areas
- Support team management by coordinating tasks, training new staff, and fostering a positive work environment
- Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and ensuring proper food storage
- Uphold restaurant policies and ensure compliance with health and safety standards

Skills
- Supervising experience or leadership qualities are highly desirable
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for serving guests effectively
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling procedures
