Toromont Material Handling is looking for an Inside Sales Representative (ISR) to be the key point of contact between the business and our customers. The ISR will have a passion for sales and a proactive desire to connect with customers for the purchase of Caterpillar Parts, Service and Equipment. The listed base salary is just one component of our total rewards package, and performance-based or discretionary bonuses may be available

In a typical day, YOU will:
- Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy workplace behaviours at all times
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers with sales under 20,000$/year to promote and sell the company’s products and services.
- Identify customer needs and prepare tailored estimates in close collaboration with other departments.
- Promote attachments, tools, and parts from Caterpillar, Mitsubishi, Logisnext, Kalmar, as well as other distributed manufacturers, in addition to alternative solutions offered by the dealership.
- Effectively coordinate service requests and direct them to the appropriate resources to ensure an optimal customer experience.
- Proactively promote the company’s service products and programs.
- Develop and maintain a customer portfolio by building long-term relationships and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Must-haves for this role:
- College diploma or vocational training in a technical or related field.
- Strong customer service focus with a results-oriented mindset.
- Strong sales aptitude and business development skills.
- Comfortable using computer tools and systems (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Ability to work independently with flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and follow-up skills.
- Motivated to grow and advance within the sales team.
