Wash Bay Attendant – Heavy-Duty Trucks & Trailers
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Wash Bay Attendant to join our automotive service team. This position is focused exclusively on cleaning and washing heavy-duty trucks and trailers to a high standard and is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating wash equipment, applying cleaning chemicals safely, and ensuring every vehicle meets our quality and presentation standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and pride in delivering excellent results.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash heavy-duty trucks and trailers thoroughly and efficiently
- Operate automated and manual wash equipment
- Safely handle and apply a variety of cleaning chemicals, including acids
- Inspect vehicles after washing to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the wash bay area
- Follow all safety procedures and environmental guidelines for chemical and water use
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a wash bay, car wash, or detailing role is an asset
- Strong attention to detail, especially in cleaning and finishing work
- Ability to use hand tools, power washers, and other wash equipment
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual tasks for extended periods
- Strong work ethic and positive, team-oriented attitude
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to learn and follow established wash procedures
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
