NATT Group operates through three core pillars: NATT Safety Services, Northern Academy (a Private Career College), and NATT Personnel. Together, they provide complete safety solutions—from training and certification to on-site support, including Confined Space Rescue specialists—while delivering skilled workforce solutions across a variety of industries.
We are currently expanding our team of experienced Line Crew Ground Support Training Specialists to deliver high-quality training programs on an as-needed basis. This position is ideal for an experienced Powerline Technician or utility professional who is passionate about sharing their knowledge, mentoring others, and helping develop a skilled, safety-focused workforce.
The successful candidate will deliver training that emphasizes industry best practices, professionalism, and safe work habits while creating an engaging learning environment that prepares participants for success in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging classroom and practical training programs.
- Facilitate learning in a professional, interactive, and supportive environment.
- Evaluate participant performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Assist in the development, review, and continuous improvement of training materials and course content.
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
- Promote a strong culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous learning.
- Ensure training is delivered in accordance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable industry standards.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to coordinate training schedules and program delivery.
- Travel to client sites and training locations as required.
Qualifications
- Experience working within the electrical utility or powerline industry.
- Previous experience delivering training, mentoring employees, and/or supervising crews is preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management abilities.
- Ability to effectively instruct both classroom and hands-on practical training.
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver's Licence.
- Willingness to travel throughout Ontario as required.
Preferred Certifications
- Working at Heights
- Standard First Aid & CPR
- Train-the-Trainer certification is an asset

Pay: $30.00-$70.00 per hour
