We are seeking a Production Director for one of Montreal’s leading fashion manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee production from samples to final delivery, ensuring quality, efficiency, and brand consistency.
- Partner with Design, Merchandising, and Sales to guide product development and meet margin/cost targets.
- Lead the team in troubleshooting technical and quality issues, driving enhancements and special garment developments.
- Manage capacity planning, costing, and vendor allocation; collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure smooth production flow.
- Attract, develop, and retain talent while fostering team performance and growth.
- Travel as needed for factories, development follow-ups, and trade shows.
Qualifications:
- 8–10 years in apparel production, sourcing, and product development.
- Strong technical expertise in garment construction, textiles, trims, washes, and costing.
- Experience with Costco or Walmart production is a plus.
- Proficient in Adobe Suite, CAD, PLM, Microsoft Office, Mac systems.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized with excellent communication skills.
- Bilingual French/English; English fluency required for international communication.
