A heavy civil construction group in Etobicoke, ON Peel Halton Region is hiring a certified 310T Licensed Fleet Mechanic to handle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs for on-site trucks and heavy machinery. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Inspect and diagnose vehicles, equipment, and components for defects, damage, or wear.
- Perform mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and preventative maintenance repairs.
- Order and track required parts and ensure timely procurement.
- Maintain accurate records, including daily maintenance logs and repair cost estimates.
- Test vehicles post-repair to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Ensure all vehicles meet provincial inspection standards and safety regulations.
- Work in both shop and outdoor environments, including exposure to weather.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician Certification with a clean driver’s license.
- 3+ years of experience servicing trucks and/or heavy equipment.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, service manuals, and repair procedures.
- Ability to lift heavy components and work in physically demanding environments.
Preferred:
- Experience with snow removal equipment and related control systems ., salters, spreaders, loaders, graders, and backhoes.
- Familiarity with electronic and hydraulic systems.

Compensation:
$38.00 – $45.00/hour to start, based on previous experience, certifications, and training.
Annual performance-based bonus.
