We manage our own shopping malls and commercial properties and are looking for high performing Senior Property Administrator to manage our properties in Metro Vancouver area. There is good advancement opportunity to move to management position for the right candidate.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- handle tenants’ enquiries and provide resolution of tenant issues.
- interpretation of terms of lease and carry out leasing enforcement.
- inspecting properties daily if repairs or maintenance are required.
- managing on-site maintenance staff, trades, securities and janitors.
- seek quotes, negotiate and prepare purchase orders for building repairs and maintenance, supplies and equipment.
- assisting in preparation of annual maintenance budget, regular review and cost control.
- Taking charge of on-site in-house marketing promotion.
- other duties assigned by management.
The successful candidate should have the following skills, experience and personal attributes:
- willing to help and support people.
- taking pride in detail and going above and beyond on tasks assigned.
- minimum 3 years’ experience in retail property management.
- good written and communication skills in English.
- strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, multi-tasks, able to work independently and as a team player.
- strong planning, time management, organizational, analytical, problem-solving skills.
- good knowledge of principal and practices in property management and building construction.
- proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office programs.
- able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Depending on qualifications and experience, annual salary will not be less than $60,000.00 plus fringe benefits including generous extended health care, dental care, vision care, long-term disability and life insurance, continuous education reimbursement, company events etc. There are good advancement opportunities for the right candidate.
Candidates with less relevant experience may consider starting as Property Administrator.
