Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and licensed Red Seal Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential projects. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing codes, safety standards, and technical skills to ensure efficient and reliable plumbing solutions. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with blueprints and schematics
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to execute precise installations
- Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent issues and ensure optimal performance
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques safely and effectively
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate plumbing work with other trades such as carpentry or HVAC
- Troubleshoot plumbing problems using diagnostic skills is a must.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
- Perform system inspections to identify potential issues before they escalate
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in plumbing systems installation and repair
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately(asset)
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of construction practices related to plumbing installation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during installation or repair tasks
