POSITION :
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse - Forklift Specialist to join our team at our Toronto Branch in Mississauga, ON.
RESPONSIBILITY:
Including but not limited to;
- Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, move, and organize materials within the warehouse.
- Handle inbound and outbound shipments, including full-load containers, devanning imported FAK containers, and loading export cargo after customs clearance.
- Verify and label products, ensuring accurate inventory tracking and proper storage location assignments.
- Manage inbound schedules by coordinating container arrivals and aligning them with warehouse capacity and priorities.
- Oversee the sorting, staging, and release of FAK cargo, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
- Communicate effectively with import/export teams, truck drivers, and warehouse staff to maintain an organized operational flow.
- Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and report maintenance needs to ensure safety and reliability.
- Follow all warehouse safety policies and operating procedures, maintaining vigilance and ensuring the safety of people and property.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and hazard-free to support efficient workflows.
QUALIFICATION:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Knowledge or experience in FAK logistics and warehouse operations is an asset.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding warehouse tasks.
- Physically fit to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift.
- Valid forklift operator license (Counterbalance preferred)
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
Salary: Negotiable based on experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
