Colorworks Express Autobody Centers is seeking a Customer Service Representative. This person is an integral team member to shop operations, provides a high level of face-to-face customer service and supports customers’ needs throughout the repair process. The CSR is the first point of contact for all customers whether on the phone or in person; provides strategic administrative support to front office staff; and ensures the effective, efficient and accurate administration of front office admin tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Provides courteous assistance to customers and educate customers on collision repair process
- Face-to-face interaction with customers
- Taking photos of and evaluating vehicle damage
- Capturing a complete list of customers’ expectations and if necessary, educating on service deliverables
- Understanding specific insurers' claims processing policies and processes and following them accordingly
- Scheduling estimate appointments and calling customers.
- Record keeping i.e. assignments, insurance instructions, and customer communication notes.
- Timely two-way communication with/ between internal and external customers
- Answer the phone, direct calls, and take messages as required.
- Maintain appearance of the storefront, ensuring it is cleaned daily and always tidy.
- Providing administrative services effectively and efficiently to ensure that files are accurate and up to date. This includes payments, customer information and documents, purchase orders, and work orders.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in Customer Service, previous experience in the automotive industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of collision repair process and/or auto insurance claims is an asset.
- Knowledge of shop management software (Bodyshop Connect) and estimating software (Audatex) is an asset.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient data entry skills.
- Exceptional organization skills.
- Efficient use of Google Sheets and the Internet.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively with co-workers.
