You have a minimum of 1 years of Host experience including 1 year of experience in high-end, high volume dining.
- Responsible for greeting, seating and overall guest interaction
- Ensure that all Host Responsibilities maintain the quality standards consistently at all times as mandated by The Modern Group
- Organize and prepare for regular service and functions as needed
- Learn names and personally recognize regulars.
- Accommodate guest requests as needed.
- Maintain proper and professional phone etiquette
- Clear and reset tables.

- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant including host stand, washrooms and coat check
- Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues to restaurant management
- Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
- Demonstrate proficient food knowledge.
- Demonstrate proficient beverage knowledge (Liquor, Wine, and Beer)
- Assist other FOH staff to perform setting up restaurant, cleaning restaurant, bussing tables, running food, taking food orders, making cocktails, serving guests, assisting host staff and opening and serving wine, when needed.
- Perform all duties while following all health department sanitation requirements.

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Part-time hours: 15-30 per week
Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
