Psychotherapist / Social Worker (Hamilton)
Independent Contractor | Approximately 15 hours/week
About First Step Men’s Therapy
First Step Men’s Therapy (FSMT) is a growing Ontario-based psychotherapy practice dedicated to helping men and couples reconnect with themselves and others in a safe, supportive, and grounded environment.
We specialize in areas that are often underserved in traditional settings, including:
- Compulsive sexual behaviour and pornography use
- Substance misuse and addictive patterns
- Trauma and shame-based narratives
- Relationship and intimacy concerns
- Anxiety, grief, and sexual dysfunction
Our team values authenticity, integrity, professionalism, collaboration, and accountability—and we are intentional about building a culture where both clients and therapists can do meaningful work.
Beginning June 2026, FSMT will be opening its fifth office location in Hamilton. As such, this role will allow you to be the face of FSMT in the Hamilton area.
This role is primarily in-person, with opportunities for hybrid virtual work if necessary.
