Cornerstone Christian Church of God Preschool (CCCG Preschool) is looking for caring and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educators to join our team on a casual, on-call basis.
Position Details:
- Shift Available:
- 7 Positions: Casual on call
- Hours Per Week: Shifts are on an as-needed basis during preschool hours (between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
- Pay Rate: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
- Government Top-up: According to ECE level
Responsibilities:
- Implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that align with Christian values.
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and faith-filled environment for children.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
- Incorporate Christian teachings into daily interactions and activities.
- Monitor and assess child development.
- Collaborate with other teachers to ensure a cohesive and Christ-centered learning environment.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom and adhere to all licensing regulations.
Requirements:
- Faith Commitment: Must be comfortable working in a Christian preschool setting and integrating faith-based principles into teaching.
- Certification: Must hold an Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certification (Level 1, 2, or 3). Candidates without certification will not be considered.
- Clearances: Must have a valid police background check with a vulnerable sector screening.
- First Aid: Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
- Experience: Previous experience in a childcare or educational setting is preferred.
- References: 2 Professional, 1 Personal (Non Family Member)
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with parents, staff, and children.
- Passion for early childhood education and faith-based learning.
