Marketing, Sales & Social Media Intern (Paid)
Location: Spaces Coworking, 80 Atlantic Avenue, Toronto, ON (Liberty Village)
Schedule: 1 day per week (in-person)
Term: September – December 2026, with the opportunity to extend through April 2027

About the Opportunity
We're looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and creative student or recent graduate who wants to gain practical experience across marketing, sales, branding, and business development.
This is more than a typical internship—you'll be involved in real projects, collaborate on new ideas, and develop skills that will prepare you for a career in marketing, sales, or entrepreneurship.
What You'll Be Doing
Marketing & Brand Development
- Create engaging content for Instagram and website
- Assist with planning and scheduling social media content while tracking performance and engagement.
- Help create email newsletters and digital marketing campaigns.
- Support product launches, promotional campaigns, and seasonal marketing initiatives.
- Conduct competitor and industry research to identify trends, customer insights, and new opportunities.
- Assist with product photography, content creation, and marketing materials.
Sales & Business Development
- Research prospective university bookstores, retailers, and corporate partners.
- Identify potential customers and build qualified lead lists.
- Assist with customer outreach through email and other communication channels.
- Update and maintain customer information using our CRM and sales databases.
- Support follow-up with existing clients and help prepare sales presentations and product information.
General Business Support
- Organize marketing schedule and project files.
- Contribute creative ideas during brainstorming sessions.
- Assist with a variety of projects that support the day-to-day operations of a growing business.
Looking for a Candidate who is:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Marketing, Business, Communications, Commerce, or related program.
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable working independently while taking initiative.
- Interested in branding, entrepreneurship, retail, or consumer products.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design tools.
- Photography or short-form video editing experience.
- Familiarity with Mailchimp, Shopify, Quickbooks, or social media scheduling platforms.
