Overview
Twin Rinks Physiotherapy is a well-established, multidisciplinary clinic proudly serving the Langley community since 1994. We are seeking a professional, reliable, and friendly Medical Office Assistant/Clinical Receptionist to manage our front desk operations during our busy evening hours. The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner at the front desk
- Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and relay messages
- Assist with check-in and check-out procedures using electronic medical records
- Verify patient information, update records, and ensure data accuracy within EMR platforms
- Collect insurance information, process payments, and handle billing as needed
- Prepare patient charts and documentation for appointments or procedures
- Support clinical staff with administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations
Qualifications & Skills
- Prior experience as a Medical Office Assistant preferred
- Proficiency with electronic medical records systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare documentation standards
- Strong office experience including front desk duties and administrative support
- Ability to manage multi-line phone systems efficiently
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience working in medical offices is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and professionalism in patient interactions
- Availability Absolute availability to consistently work the fixed Tuesday and Thursday evening schedule (3:00PM-8:00PM)
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
