Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Flooring and Wall Protection Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing durable flooring materials and wall protection systems that enhance safety, aesthetics, and functionality in commercial and residential spaces. Duties
- Measure, cut, and prepare flooring materials and wall protection components using hand tools and construction techniques.
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine installation layouts and specifications.
- Install various types of flooring such as vinyl, tile, laminate, or hardwood, ensuring proper adhesion and alignment.
- Apply wall protection systems including corner guards, wall panels, or other safety features with precision.
- Use caulking tools to seal joints, seams, and edges for a finished look and added durability.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections during installation to verify accuracy, safety compliance, and adherence to design plans.
Requirements
- Proven experience in flooring installation, tile laying, or wall protection setup within construction or handyman roles.
- Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, drills, trowels, levels, and measuring devices.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, or schematics accurately.
- Strong construction background with knowledge of carpentry principles and building codes.
- Experience with caulking techniques for finishing touches on installations.
- Hands-on experience with drywall repair or general handyman tasks is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a keen eye for detail to ensure precise work quality.
