About the Role
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all plant warehouse operations, including coordination with external warehouse partners. This role ensures seamless inbound and outbound flow of solid and liquid materials, supports production continuity, manages warehouse personnel, and resolves operational challenges. A strong focus on accuracy, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations & Material Flow
- Ensure the accuracy and execution of the shipping schedule, including all inbound and outbound solid and liquid loads.
- Guarantee timely supply of all required ingredients and materials to keep production lines running without interruption.
- Oversee and validate all documentation, including delivery notes, certificates of analysis, system postings, and troubleshooting of order discrepancies.
Leadership & People Management
- Lead, supervise, and develop warehouse operators to maintain high standards in safety, efficiency, and performance.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and clear communication within the warehouse team.
External Warehouse & Inventory Control
- Ensure accuracy, reconciliation, and compliance within external warehouse operations.
- Manage receptions and resolve inventory issues through root-cause analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
- Serve as a key liaison between Customer Service, Scheduling, Transportation, and warehouse teams.
Customer & Quality Support
- Assist in investigating and resolving warehouse-related customer complaints.
- Support internal and external audits by ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory expectations.
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in audit processes and ensure adherence to warehouse and quality procedures.
- Provide support to inventory management activities as required.
About You
Education & Experience
- College diploma (or equivalent) with 3–6 years of relevant warehouse or logistics experience.
- Experience supervising or coordinating teams in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Advanced SAP knowledge and hands-on experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Suite, and general Windows-based systems.
Leadership & Communication
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments and external partners.
- Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and the ability to learn and work cross-functionally.
- Inclusive mindset with the ability to foster a positive and respectful work environment.
This is a full-time role. Hours of work Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm, with flexibility to work continental day shift 6:45am to 7:00pm as the business requires.
The base rate of pay for this role is $75,000 to $90,000/yearly CAD. This salary represents the anticipated salary range for this position at this time. Salary will vary based on knowledge, skills and abilities.
