Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Body Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of auto body repair processes, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to produce accurate estimates. As an Estimator, you’ll play a key role in helping customers understand repair needs and costs while supporting the team in providing timely, high-quality repair services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate damage on vehicles and provide detailed repair estimates.
- Communicate with customers to explain the repair process, timelines, and costs.
- Collaborate with insurance adjusters to ensure accuracy in estimates and approvals.
- Document repair details and maintain records of all estimates and customer interactions.
- Ordering all parts and materials
- Work with the repair team to provide insights on parts, labor, and repair methods.
- Follow up with customers regarding updates on repairs and answer any questions.
- Maintain knowledge of industry standards, repair techniques, and estimating software.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in auto body estimating
- Proficiency with estimating software Mitchell, Bodyshop Connect, Audatex and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of Tesla EPC online catalogue, a benefit.
- This is an in-office position, remote work not available
- Strong knowledge of vehicle parts and repair processes.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license
*Salary is dependant on experience. Junior estimator will be hired at a training salary.
