Civil Construction – Labourer
$25 - $32 an hour
Full Time – plus overtime
Job Duties
- Perform physical labour in a variety of different construction projects
- Loading and unloading equipment
- Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards
- Loading, unloading and cleanliness of vehicle and equipment
- Operating hand and power tools of all type
- Maintain, clean and basic daily maintenance of equipment and tools
- Will require some hand digging on site when needed
What You’ll Bring
- Previous civil construction experience considered an asset
- Knowledge of construction safety procedures
- Ability to read simple instructions and follow safety signage accurately
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods and working outside in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- A valid Canadian driver’s license
