Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes, schematics, and industrial electrical practices. The Electrician will ensure all work complies with safety standards and project specifications, contributing to the efficient operation of our facilities and client sites.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately install or repair electrical systems.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in industrial or commercial settings.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform electrical work efficiently and safely.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform necessary repairs or upgrades.
- Work on renovation projects, including updating existing electrical systems or installing new wiring in construction or remodeling sites.
- Ensure all work adheres to local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters or HVAC technicians during construction or renovation projects.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used for each project.
Skills
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical systems.
- Experience as an commercial, industrial electrician with knowledge of electrical systems familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Construction experience including wiring installations and system upgrades
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail for troubleshooting complex electrical issues.
- Commitment to safety procedures and adherence to electrical codes throughout all phases of work.
