Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role is essential in maintaining the smooth operation of our food service environment, ensuring that both food preparation and cleanliness standards are met. Duties
- Assist in food preparation, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking and serving.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Follow food handling and safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene.
- Support the cooking staff by helping with various tasks as needed during service hours.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, including countertops, floors, and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Participate in inventory management by keeping track of supplies and notifying management when stock is low.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and basic cooking techniques is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
