Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on heavy equipment including Packers, Pavers, and other misc pieces using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, Hydraulic Hose replacement,.
- Fabricate custom parts or modifications using welding, soldering, hand tools, and power tools to meet specific repair needs.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues involving Hydrostatic systems and electrical Systems.
- Operate heavy machinery such as Earthmoving Equipment
- Use diagnostics tools to identify issues with diesel engines and Machine based platforms
- Assist in assembling new equipment or components and conduct thorough inspections to verify proper functioning before returning machinery to service.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanic experience with a focus on heavy-duty equipment; dealership experience is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across a broad range of machinery including Packers, Pavers and Rollers.
- Proficiency with repair tools including hand tools, power tools, diagnostic scanners, and alignment equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while working in various outdoor environments under different weather conditions.
- Knowledge of hydraulics and electrical Components.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members. Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 65.0 per week

Experience:
- heavy Equipment repair: 5 years (preferred)
