About the Role:
As a CBRE Engineering Ops Manager, you will be responsible for implementing, coordinating,and managing mechanical and electrical operations for a facility, campus, orportfolio of buildings.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Servicesjob function. They are responsible for providing support, preventivemaintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You’ll Do:
Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor andcoach as needed.
Assist team with operations and maintenance issues.
Direct contractors, subcontractors, and engineers on maintenanceaspects.
Enforce and merge customer engineering, maintenancestandards, and requirements into the facility maintenance program and anyconfiguration changes.
Support preparation of annual operating budgets. Evaluate,forecast, and manage operations and maintenance costs for a specific location.
Support operational analysis of engineering relatedperformance metrics (KPIs).
Drive continuous improvement and innovation. Support theundertaking of peer reviews, site assessments, and technical competenceevaluations.
Integrate with clients for reconfiguration, changes, andoperational requirements.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistentwith CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach anagreement.
Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own disciplineintegrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day andmoderately complex issues that may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes
Collaboratewith and support Distribution Centre Deliver operations.
Working inand with Quality, Safety, and reporting systems
Initiatingand managing Change Controls and supporting quality and safety investigations
Provide FMtechnical input for design review, qualification, and investigations etc
Participateand support capital planning and asset management for office and warehouseoperations\\
Support dayto day facility management operations
Ensure Policies,Standards, and Practices are adhered to
Supportaudits
Manage 3rdparty FM consultants and contractors
Reporting ofmetrics and completion of surveys to monitor performance
Attendmeetings to provide FM updates
Developcapital planning and manage site master plans.
Supportoccupant and business FM needs.
What You’llNeed:
Bachelor'sDegree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, acombination of experience and education will be considered.
Membershipof an Engineering related professional body i.e. CIBSE/ IEE preferred.
Experiencein the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching,mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retentionpreferred.
Ability toguide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, conveyperformance expectations and handle problems.
Leadershipskills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of thejob discipline and department.
Excellentclient relationship skills.
In-depthknowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook,etc.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The salary range being offered for the FM Engineering Operations Manager position is between $110,000 annually and $120,000 annually. The compensation that is provided to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
