Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a General Labourer / Roofer. The successful candidate will assist with residential and commercial roofing projects, including roof installation, repairs, tear-offs, clean-up, and material handling. Experience is considered an asset, but we are willing to train hardworking candidates with a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials or equipment as directed
- Assist with roof installation and repair projects
- Perform general site cleanup and maintain a tidy work environment
- Operate manual tools and machinery safely and effectively
- Follow safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents immediately
- Help with assembly, packaging, or other production-related duties as needed
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures to ensure a safe workplace
Experience
- Prior experience in manual labour or roofing is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work
- Comfortable working at heights
- Valid Working at Heights certification is an asset
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety standards
