We are looking for Service Technicians to join our team here at McKenzie Trailers.
Job description
This position requires the individual to perform a ‘PDI’ (Pre-Delivery Inspection) on new and used trailers. This involves making sure every detail of the unit is up to standard. While completing a PDI, you will encounter various issues and imperfections that will require on the spot thinking and troubleshooting.
Repairing trailers, such as electrical, plumbing systems etc. On road delivery and set up of the trailers.
Time management is key in this role because every trailer that leaves the dealership will get an in-depth demonstration with the customer, after the PDI is completed.
There is room for growth and potential to move up to licensed Service Technician and On-Road service staff from this position.
Requirements:
RV2 trailer certification
Qualifications for this role may include but are not limited to:
- Punctual and Organized
- Attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry and propane is an asset.
- Owning basic hand tools is a requirement
- Time management
- Ability to work alone or as a team
- Troubleshooting and Quick thinking
- Valid G License is an asset
- Experience towing/moving trailers is considered an asset
- Willing to learn and grow in the environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
