Job Summary
We are seeking a 1st or 2nd Year Automotive Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to our customers. This role requires a combination problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle makes and models, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to conduct repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Collaborate with team members to assemble parts and components as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
- Assist in heavy lifting and moving of automotive parts as required during repairs or maintenance tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
Experience
- Previous experience as an automotive technician or mechanic is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment related to automotive repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand systems within vehicles.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks associated with automotive repair.
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism when interacting with clients.
