Job Overview
Timco provides interior woodwork to custom homes throughout the Sunshine Coast, Sea to Sky, and the Lower Mainland and we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting project management activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within scope. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively for and within our team.
Duties
- Assist in the planning and execution of our projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate project schedules, resources, and information to ensure smooth operations.
- Support Production Manager with continuous communication about project schedules, and relay with Logistics Manager to schedule deliveries and pickups
- Maintain project documentation, including server files, drawings, and estimates.
- Utilize construction management software such as Contractor Foreman and email, Smartsheet.
- Collaborate with customers + project managers and team members to facilitate communication and resolve issues.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
- Review construction estimates and assist in budget management
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure change orders are communicated internally.
Skills
- Proficiency in construction management software
- Strong understanding of construction estimating processes and techniques.
- Ability to read drawings.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with team members and clients.
- Project or resource management experience is highly desirable, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong analytical skills.
- Woodworking skills or familiarity with millwork are desirable to understand nuance of our work.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
