Job Summary:
The Dealership Administrator handles a variety of tasks each day, including processing sales paperwork, scheduling appointments, maintaining inventory records, and supporting with general administrative needs. The role requires balancing multiple priorities, responding to internal and external inquiries, and keeping meticulous records. It would involve working in the store, but interacting with multiple members of the accounting team online who are located across BC and Alberta.
The job:
- Manage day-to-day administrative operations to support the dealership’s sales, service, and finance departments.
- Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, deposits, invoices, and payment transactions.
- Reconcile daily sales and financial transactions and assist with month-end reporting.
- Maintain accurate customer, vehicle, and financial records in dealership management systems.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems while ensuring confidentiality of customer and business information.
- Assist with audits, reporting, compliance requirements, and other dealership administrative tasks.
- Coordinate office supplies, records, correspondence, and general administrative functions.
- Identify process improvements and help ensure efficient, accurate dealership operations.
The requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Previous dealership or administration experience preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn.
