Ace Courier Services Victoria is looking for an energetic, reliable, and detail-oriented person to join our team.
This is a hands-on position in a busy courier and freight environment. The primary responsibilities involve warehouse work, but driving is also an important part of this position. The successful candidate may be required to cover courier routes, make deliveries, and operate company 5-ton and flat-deck trucks when needed.
A reliable means of transportation is required.
What You'll Be Doing
- Unloading trailers and handling incoming freight
- Sorting morning freight for delivery drivers
- Forklifting and moving skids
- Loading and organizing freight
- Preparing freight for delivery
- Covering courier delivery routes when required
- Driving company 5-ton and flat-deck trucks as needed
- Assisting other drivers and warehouse staff
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and safe
- Performing various other warehouse and courier-related tasks
What We're Looking For
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment
- Able to lift and move heavy items
- Strong attention to detail — accuracy is important when sorting and handling freight
- Previous warehouse, freight, or distribution experience is an asset
- Commercial driving experience is an asset
- 5-ton and/or flat-deck driving experience is an asset
- Valid class 5 driver's licence is required
- Forklift experience is an asset
- Experience operating forklifts, order pickers, clamp trucks, or other material-handling equipment is an asset
Compensation & Schedule
Starting wage: $25.00/hour
Monday – Friday
Start time: 4:00 AM
This position starts at 4:00 AM every weekday. Applicants must be comfortable with early mornings and have reliable transportation to get to work.
Please note: While the position is primarily warehouse-based, driving duties are part of the job and may include covering courier routes and operating 5-ton and flat-deck trucks. The amount of driving will vary depending on operational needs.
