We are an established flooring retailer which has served the GTA-west market for over 50 years. Currently we seeking a new member of our team to oversee warehouse operations.
The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following tasks:
- assisting with cutting rolls and material preparation for subcontractors
- receiving and unloading materials from transport carriers
- picking up orders from suppliers (using company vehicle)
- delivering orders to clients (using company vehicle)
- moving inventory within the warehouse (either manually or with mechanical assistance)
- assembling new displays and general merchandising
- daily general maintenance (vacuuming, sweeping, dusting) ensuring a clean, presentable appearance
Initial compensation is $24.00 per hour. Wage may be increased by 10% after six months if the candidate demonstrates sufficient work ethic and reliability. The position is full-time and permanent. Work schedule is weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Candidates must have a valid G driver's license and their own transportation.
