Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable Mover to join our team. This role involves assisting with the relocation of furniture, equipment, and other heavy items in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting tasks. Prior experience in moving, warehouse operations, or commercial driving is a plus. Responsibilities
- Safely load, unload, and transport items such as furniture, appliances, and equipment
- Operate forklifts and other moving equipment as needed
- Assist clients with their moving needs while providing excellent customer service
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor to move items within warehouses or client locations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas during and after moves
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
Qualifications
- Previous experience in moving, warehouse operations, or commercial driving is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks regularly
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus but not required; training can be provided
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license are desirable for roles involving commercial driving responsibilities
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing schedules and work in various environments
